I actually thought of another story to post - and I do believe it involved Raven!

I know I posted this somewhere in the forums, but can't find it. If someone knows where this story was posted originally, PM me!

The dagger run came to the Key Room - which was my room in 2008. There was a large metal key on a pedestal in the middle of the room surrounded by a jungle gym - one of those domes made out of metal triangles. The puzzle was to grab the key without passing your hand through the bars of the dome. The idea was that players would have a rope token, and then the DM gives them a rope which they then use to get the key.

But the dagger run didn't have a rope token. They go through the dungeon with each player carrying only a dagger token*. So, when they got to my room, they immediate began to strip off pieces of their costumes so they could fashion a rope. As they were taking off their clothes, I said, "That's okay, I'll get the rope..."

Classic!

*and the cleric can't even carry that - the cleric goes through with no tokens!

Is there a dagger run planned this year?

Organization is not our strong suit.

That ....  That is just....tooo horrible a concept to even consider.  No, not the dagger....the LACK of TOKENS!

I'd like to try a commando run.

A few years back, a friend of mine drew a Medallion of Greyhawk in the dungeon on his very first run. Needless to say, he was hooked.

Figures a Wizard would say that!

I had to do some long distance travelling today and this post reminded me of the CD so I listened to it. Nice listening to the old riddle reveal of 2007.
