We also altered the damage on the Great Sword so that it has a slightly different damage spread than the Great Axe -- only it does not have the same max. damage potential.

Does this mean both the Great Sword and Great Sword +1 tokens need to be traded in?

I can add these to my Short Sword +1 from 2004.

Thanks,

Gary, Jeff will have to confirm but I believe he is planning on simply having both versions in circulation (i.e. no trade in).

Maybe having a thick headed moment - but it seems unlikely that if damage is changed on the circle band that the old tokens can remain in circ? hmmm? Let's see what Jeff says...

Different but the damage average is the same.

For the "new" greatsword, instead of 1,2,3,...,8,9,10 the numbers go 2,2,3,4.....7,8,9,9 and likewise for the +1 version.

Well I guess people could write over the bogus numbers then - but it seems like a recall could be appreciated even for that small change.

So when are they going to make the 10' Pole(s) token?

Ahh, but in a dungeon, always carry an 11 foot pole! Those crafty DM's set traps to kill 10 footers, but with an 11 foot one, you can outwit their crafty schemes :-P

Or maybe, take two 10 foot poles and a rope token, tie them together, and create like an 18 foot pole

At SoCal, our 10' poles for the Rodney Room were 8'. They had to cut them down to get them to fit in the truck. heehhehehehe

My point being, there is no reason why the old numbers must be bogus and they should still resolve normally but I am guessing like with all weapons, Jeff will allow people to exchange old for new if someone prefers the new numbers. Of course, Im just speculating.
