TOPIC: Now for all to see - WIN a Charm of Heroism!

Many of you know that I have been running races and raising funds to fight cancer with Team in Training for several years. You also may know that each time Jeff has donated an awesome token, such as a Ring of Riches and a Girdle of Frost Giant Strength, that I could auction off to raise money.

I wasn't planning on doing a Team in Training event this year, but something happened to change my mind. My wife's aunt was diagnosed with lymphoma and has been getting chemotherapy (thankfully doing well so far). I am going to run the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in San Diego in June in honor of Aunt Karen. She and my wife Jen are going to be my support staff, fundraising partners, and cheerleaders.

Jeff has again been incredibly generous, and has donated a CHARM OF HEROISM for me to auction to raise funds. Remember, this is the transmuted token that allows you to be fifth level and still wear rings. I know this is a high-demand token that will be hard for most forumites to acquire. Between that and the awesome generosity of the TD community, we should be able to raise a great deal of money to help Team in Training fight cancer!

For every $25 you donate, you will get one entry into a drawing for the Charm. So you could win this relic for just $25, but if you donate more, you increase your chances! I was thinking two weeks, but let's make it easier to remember and say donations through the end of the month. If you wish, you can donate anonymously - just PM me so I know to assign your entries. Even if you are not anonymous, it would be a good idea to PM or email me to make sure I know who you are - most people do not have the same name as their forum name!

Donated 100 to the fight I've lost multiple family members to cancer over the years. Grandmother to lung cancer, cousin to lymphoma, and Uncle to testicular. My step mom they caught the breast cancer in time

Several people have done this, and I think it's a great idea. When you enetr your name to be displayed on the website, go ahead and add your forum ID after your name.
